Default The spooky college football selection express

    Fade, play or follow.

Going to be posting some of the plays I am making during the day. Also will be conservatively posting the units.

With a lot going on, I am not a tout and not looking to
tell anyone what to do. Just posting what I did and some of the plays I like.

Lets hope the Express keeps winning at the end of the decade as we did all thru the decade.

Will be back later with a couple more.
And may upgrade a few plays or downgrade them accordingly.
Lets hope I picked the right games out of the hat.

    Good Luck.

Sunday's List of 13: Wrapping up a college football Saturday

    13) Michigan-Notre Dame was excellent game to watch, but Irish lost in large part because Charlie Weis' clock management was awful. He has a running back named Allen who ran ball 21 times for 139 times, but he threw ball twice when he had ball and lead with under 3:00 left, allowing Michigan to save its timeouts. Seeing as Wolverines scored winning TD with 0:11 left, who would you blame?

    12) Georgia's 41-37 win over South Carolina had more big special teams plays, both good and bad, than any game I can remember. Dawgs set the school record for kickoff return yardage in one game, and that was just in the first half. A historically low-scoring series was like a pinball game last night. Gamecocks have scored 44 points, allowed 44 in two games, two games that were as different as games can be.

    11) Purdue lost 38-36 at Oregon, after winning 52-31 last week, so they are an early nominee for the most interesting team to watch. Love their QB Elliott, who appears to be a gritty leader who can run and pass.

    10) Oregon scored two defensive TDs and won by two points; they are the only I-A team that scored two defensive TDs Saturday.

    9) Paper in Miami did a report on how in two south Florida counties, Miami-Dade and Broward, there are 385 kids playing D-I football and a couple hundred more playing I-AA. Thats in two freakin' counties.

    8) Odd thing is that Central Michigan had 15 of then, and ten kids go to Middle Tennessee State, where former Florida State QB Rick Stockstill is the head coach. There are seven D-I teams in Florida.

    7) Florida State 19, Jacksonville State 9, but Seminoles scored two TDs in last 0:35 to win. Would have been the end of the Bowden era had the Seminoles lost this game. They have red-hot BYU up next in Provo.

    6) How did Vanderbilt get in the SEC, and Northwestern in Big 11, when they are the only private school in either league?

    5) North Carolina scored nine points in last 1:35 to steal a 12-10 win at UConn; winning points were on a safety, when UConn got called for a holding penalty in the end zone. Painful game to watch.

    4) I think its funny that BYU is only team that will play games in both Las Vegas and New Orleans this season. Kind of a waste, ya think?

    3) USC is not the third best team in America, not right now. Bullshit. Go to Ohio State with a freshman QB in the 2nd game of the year and pull out a win.
They will only get better. And the offensive line was not that good until the game winning drive.

    2) Pete Carroll is this generation's Barry Switzer; back in the 70's, there was no team that played with as much swagger as Oklahoma, and now it is USC that is that team, the team that goes anywhere, plays anyone and totally, 100% expects to win every game, which is why Carroll is 90-15.

    1) There is nothing better as a coach than having players who show up knowing they're going to win that day, but USC's inexperience, both on its coaching staff and its two-deep depth chart may hurt them in some games.
    I just hope not.
