Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez could make a dramatic switch to rivals Manchester City after his agent Kia Joorabchian revealed the Argentine striker would join a club not in the Champions League. (Daily Express)
I’m sure there isn’t a major club in world football who hasn’t gone to the accountant wondering if there is enough money to make a bid for Tevez this summer.
However, United are looking to see if there are any loopholes in Tevez’s contract that will allow them to sign the 25-year-old for free. (The Sun)
You mean after nearly 18 months on the books, Manchester United just now are trying to find a loophole in Tevez's contact? Have no idea how this theory made it to print. Besides what are the chances Carlos Tevez would stab Kia Joorabchian in the back? You can say a lot of things about Joorabchian but he hasn’t done Tevez wrong guiding his career.
Former Manchester United captain Steve Bruce, who is now manager of Wigan, has warned Tevez that he would be mad to leave Old Trafford, with Liverpool also keen on the former West Ham forward. (Daily Mail)
I wonder how much passion former Manchester United captain Steve Bruce will have in his pre game speech today? With Wigan safely in mid table, Manchester United must love the timing of this match up.
Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez is lining up a £15m bid for Valencia forward David Silva. (The Sun)
Valencia wouldn’t return a phone call regarding a £15m offer for David Silva.
Arsenal will renew their interest in Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso but will have to pay about £18m for the Spaniard.(The Guardian)
The same chances Arsenal pony up £18m for Alonso are about the same odds Liverpool would want to sell Alonso to another big four club.
Blackburn have inquired about taking Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic on loan next season. (The Sun)
Speaking of clubs who wouldn’t return a phone call. Besides Barcelona are still focused on this year. Any decisions regarding 2009-2010 would be made later on this summer.
Everton will hope to sign Cardiff midfielder Joe Ledley for £3.5m in the summer. (The Sun)
Could see a couple more clubs entering the Joe Ledley race which will drive up the price to the £5m plus price range.

To be honest, Tevez should play regularly, and he's not going to do that at United. More power to him. But he can't go to Liverpool.....or City.....Arsenal, I wouldn't mind. Chelsea, it would be the same thing at United.
