- Tottenham learned on Saturday just how big a gulf in class there is between the top four and the rest of England. Even on a good day for Tottenham a team like Manchester United has another gear they can get too where few teams in the world can match. Considering three out of the four teams left in the Champions League are English the same can also be said for Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.
- Must of been a sicker punch for Tottenham fans seeing Berbatov score the 5th and final goal on the weekend.
- I know being a referee is a tough job and it’s all to common for a coach to blame a referee to deflect their own teams poor performance but Harry Redknapp is spot on when he said if Howard Webb is the best ref in England there is a problem. While he didn’t give three yellow cards to one player like Graham Poll did in the 2006 World Cup. Webb was still sent home from Euro 2008 after his poor performance in the Poland-Austria game.
- Seems like ages ago when Aston Villa where in a battle for 3rd. Now they find themselves 10 points behind 4th place Arsenal after their 1-1 draw against Bolton which quite frankly means little to either team.
- Considering Bolton where in a real dog fight for their EPL lives last season, sitting 7 points above the drop zone can be considered an improvement for Gary Megson. Despite this he’ll always have an uphill task winning over the Bolton fans who saw this team over achieve under Sam Allardyce
- Speaking of Allardyce, he must be sleeping alittle easier tonight after Blackburn picked up three key points in their 2-0 victory over Wigan. Job still not done yet but at least Blackburn control their own destiny.
- Manchester City got a nice break facing Everton coming on the heels of their extra time victory in the FA Cup last weekend and their 0-0 draw midweek against Chelsea. Everton were due for a letdown performance and Manchester City took full advantage with a rare road win.
- Hull City coach Phil Brown must have his fingers cross hoping Newcastle don’t win today. Unless Hull get some help they may shockingly find themselves back in the Championship after their hot start to the season.
- Sunderland are in no position to lose 3-0 to West Brom, despite their win last year Sunderland are not home and cool yet.
- Mark Noble, you gotta make that penalty. Chelsea where there for the taking with them looking ahead to Barcelona midweek.
- Must of been nice for Arsenal fans to see Fabregas score twice this weekend. Heading into the Champions League semi finals you can make the claim that Arsenal are in the best form of any team still left in the competition.

What in the hell happened to Villa? Like you said, it wasn't that long ago that people were saying they'd make the Champions League. Now, we're up for another summer of "Barry to _____" rumors.
Mark Noble must feel like a clod.
Arsenal frighten the hell outta me right now as a United fan. They're playing that fluid brand of football they're famous for, and they've only done so with Fabregas back and healthy.
