Default Be honest...when you first started gambling

Did you just double your bet on red or black until it hit or broke you?

I'll confess to playing that retarded scheme when I was 19 on a cruise ship.

funny because I did that same exact thing on a cruise when I was 21. I didn't lose though. I think I ended up just barely ahead--lucky.

We used to play card with my family in weekends and family get togetherWe didn't play for anything other than we really enjoyed being together and playing games we could all participate in. But I started playing with real money when I graduated from college and earn in my own but like in my childhood, I play for recreation and leisure.

    Hi

Nice Question. We play with my family .Gambling properly requires strong discipline and the ability to manage your money and time wisely. Whenever you start gambling, always set a maximum amount you are willing to lose. If you hit that limit, stop playing. A common method of limiting your losses is to never bring more money than you are willing to lose. It is a good idea to leave your credit card with a family member, in your car or at your hotel to avoid temptation to exceed your limit and chase your losses. Never gamble on credit or break your preset limit; it almost always leads to disaster. If you become stressed while gambling, take a break immediately. Go to a restaurant, head out shopping, see a show or spend time with friends and family. It does not matter what you do, as long as you're not gambling.

    Thanks
    Have a nice time

When I was 20 I played the blackjack and it was great game , at that time I double my bet on black but unfortunately my luck was not with me and I keep on loosing the game. Finally when I had nothing in my hand I stopped playing the game.

I do play roulette for the first time, kinda hard to win this game, that is why whenever i lost for my previous game, i double the bet on the next game until i walk home broke! lol That is the first and last roulette game i've played, i switched into poker game and surprisingly, i won several time but i don't wanna risk my money again, but i do double the bet and go all-in at time but i only do it whenever i had a great hand.

Doubling your bet until you hit is a well known martingale system can be used while playing blackjack whether it is land based game or online blackjack. This system work like that if you won any hand in the series you will get all your lost money back. And this is the specialty of this martingale system. But there is a flaw in this system also which is if you didn't won upto your money limit then you can lose all your money also. So set a bankroll limit before playing the game and then apply this strategy.

I love to play European Roulette. I have had some big wins and also lost a lot of money as well. If I'm patient I usually can come up out on top, if for example, I start off with a decent bankroll of around $500 or so. I never play 2:1 ratios, i.e. red-black, even-odd. I always play dozens and like to play the occasional inside bet, usually the single # 36:1 payout. There is no feeling of relief like being down to your final $500 and throwing it all on something specific and hitting it after 10 straight misses. And then again there is no feeling of loss when that # doesn't come up and you lose your whole bank roll. It seems to me that it is a very intuitive and fascinating game. This is my first post here on this forum- Nice to be here.
