Default Auburn @ South Carolina Thursday Night

2 Plays for today, both from the same game. BTW, I'm not touching the BYU/TCU game.

    Auburn @ South Carolina
    My Picks: Auburn -13.5 (-110) & Over 37.5 (-110)

From a technical standpoint, Auburn is dominant. First, South Carolina Steve Spurrier is only 6-9 ATS at home for South Carolina, while Auburn is an impressive 7-2 ATS its their last 9 road games. Moreover, Auburn has dominated SEC teams over the past two-plus years. The Tigers are 18-1 SU in conference play and are 15-3 ATS over that span, The Gamecocks are averaging less than eight points a game against lined competition this fall and are a woeful 1-16 ATS in their last 17 games scoring 14 or less. One last item to consider is the following. Auburns melancholy performance against Buffalo last weeks adds some significant value to this line. As mentioned above, Auburn rested many players and by playing basically a "scrimmage" last week vs. Buffalo, missing the spread by just -11 points give the perception that Auburn was an overvalued team.

Auburn's coach wasn't happy with his offense last week and he'll open it up more tonight. Meanwhile, the Gamecocks offense hasn't been anything special, but this is a nationally televised game and you can expect Spurrier to have a few offensive tricks up his sleeve vs this tough Auburn defense. Auburn has put up 33.5 ppg in their last 9 SEC games away from home, which means that South Carolina needs to score on 4.5 points to get the Over. I fee that Auburn is good for no less than 28 points here, while the Gamecocks should post from 10-17 points in this one. The math adds up to an Over in this one.

for those not too sure, or you can't get -14 or -13.5, you can always tease down to something like this:

    Auburn -7
    OVER 30.5

I have a strong feeling Auburn rolls and comes close to the over on their own

Auburn at South Carolina, 7:30 EST ESPN
Auburn: 9-1 ATS vs. conference opponents
South Carolina: 4-1 Under off BB straight up wins

id have thought 37.5 is low for a college game. im sure some teams can knock in a load of points lol

Maj--I think it has to do with Auburn's 'D' and their running game's ability to eat up the clock.

I'm gonna stick with the over, but have started to see some heavy hitters playing the under.

Another play I like in this game is Auburn -1.5 for the 1st Quarter.

    GL everyone

    AUBURN at SOUTH CAROLINA

Auburn has won 13 of its last 16 SEC tests and 'covered' at a 11-5 clip. South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier has won 10 of 14 against the Tigers during his storied career.

So true maj, so true. Auburn up 7-0 already. My fingers are crossed for those on the over in the BYU/TCU game.
