We are in REAL TROUBLE folks.

The government is taking over EVERYTHING.

The auto industry.

The banking industry

Healthcare.

More gun control is on the way.

We've got political infomercials and a President who spends more time making public appearances than all those in the past combined.

Our Press Corps is preselected. Questions are predetermined.

Hell, today they even brought someone in from the Huffington Post and Obama singled the guy out and basically answered the guy's question before he even asked it!

We are more concerned about not hurting people's feelings and making sure to keep or gain future votes than we are in what is in the country's best interest.

The media is not holding our President and his administration responsible for his mistakes.

They are not holding him to all of the campaign promises which he BLATANTLY LIED ABOUT in order to get elected and then completely ditched.

Our President is so freaking spineless he won't even uninvite Iranian diplomats from 4th of July celebrations. WTF is wrong with this guy?

And it is worse than that. We have CONGRESS. Congress makes the President look like a stand up guy. Reid. Pelosi. Etc.

We need term limits in Congress YESTERDAY.

We need to eliminate lobbyists in their current form and take away the power of persuasion they currently have over our elected officials.

It is up to the American People to STAND UP and hold their elected officials accountable. Get off the couch. Get active. Share your opinions. Let people know you won't stand for it anymore.

Look at what the Iranian people are doing! They are fed up! They are standing up and fighting for their fellow man and woman. We need to do the same.

I'm not calling for violence. I'm calling for you to be heard. Be accountable yourself. And hold others accountable, ESPECIALLY THOSE AFFILIATED WITH YOUR OWN POLITICAL PARTY.

If you can't hold your own party accountable, how can you point the finger at the other party?

We need term limits in Congress YESTERDAY.

We need to eliminate lobbyists in their current form and take away the power of persuasion they currently have over our elected officials.

These two items in particular would go a long ways towards fixing the inequities in American politics, but the odds of either one changing from the current status seems thin.

Also, something you failed to mention that has a huge influence on politics in America is the mainstream press and media, a national and international press that is truly fair balanced would be nice.
