man guys I had a bad beat in poker tonight.
4 of us left in a 44 dollar no limit sit and go poker game.
I get dealt pocket 10's.
I'm in the big blind with 400 dollars. Two guys call and I raise and they call.
Flop comes 10,8,7. One guy bets, and the other calls. I raise to 800. First guy folds, second guy goes all in.
I call all in with my 3 10's. He has 6,9.
Dude flops a freaking straight.
I guess it's not really a bad beat given that he had the nuts from the get go, but he called a raise of almost half his stack preflop with 6,9 off suit. In my world of poker, that's a bad beat.
How the hell does that ahole not fold 6 9 off? Hell, how the hell does he even call in the first place especially after there's already a caller in front of him, let alone call my freaking preflop raise.
I swear, I am the freaking bad beat poker king.
I hate poker...at least tonight I hate poker. I keep telling myself one of these days I'll be on the other side of the bad beat but sometimes I think I'm not shitty enough of a poker player to make it happen.

we hate to hear the term bad beat but it what makes a poker a great game. Bad beat can always be helpful to analyze strategy. Bad beat stories can also be entertaining if told with a sense of humility rather than bitterness. So take it easy guys.
