Thumbs up Do you think Clev will beat Bos in the Eastern Conference Finals?

To me, Cleveland wants it sooooo bad! They have been very close and have their best team ever. But the Celtics are the champs. They have grrrrreat players on offense who play great defense, role players, etc. Never bet against the champions. I say Boston takes out Clev in the Eastern Conf. Finals 4-3.

Very long season, dont know who is going to be hurt, etc etc.

But I will say this, San Antonio drew up the blueprint on how to win with a veteran team, take it easy during the regualr season. You dont have to win 70+ games, just enough to get in, and once in, you have a better chance to win of your older guys had more rest in the regular season.

If Marbury doesnt come to Boston, I see them winning again.

i think the hawks will give either the celts or the cavs fits in the playoffs this year. it is going to be a tough road for whichever team wins the east.

howdy - atlanta is a fraud. no chance they can play with bos or clev in a 7 game series. they'll lose 4-2 if they're lucky.

i agree that boston and cleveland are the best teams in the east. but i will guarantee you that neither wants to play atlanta in the playoffs. scary opponent for the big boys.

do you think boston or cleveland beats the lakers this year?

like i said, bos beats clev. i think lal beats clev. mainly because of no posey. he was shut down in the playoffs last year.

boston will no doubt be a tough out. both pierce and garnett play their best ball when the game is on the line.

actually, howdy, upsets don't happen so much in nba in a 7 game series. usually the better team wins. 5 game series different story...

I need to see the match-ups first. At this point Boston is above all in the East followed by Cleveland and then I see a group of three or four who are starting to play better/more as a team. When playoffs start, send me a reminder (PM/thread).

yes, an upset is more likely to happen in a 5 game series.

there are a couple capable teams this year, perhaps someone will get lucky this year. :p

i agree. normally at the 30 or so game mark of the nba season, you can get a feel for which teams have some potential. there is definitely some talent outside the top 2.
