not a hometown play, i think pound for pound they have a better team and will be ready

I disagree with the AL comment, you can't make a statement like that, no team is interchangeable from league to league. Tampa has a a fair team, if you think that they are really that much better than Boston, Yanks or the Angels I would disagree. Pound for pound these teams are better than Tampa but they have put together a great season, same can be said for the Phils. Take a look at the stating line ups in tonight's game and tell me Tampa is better than the Phils.....Tampa has 4 good starting pitchers, that is the big advantage they have.

blah blah blah on the AL Teams being better than the Phils or NL teams... The Mets were the 2nd best team in the NL and would have won the other Divisions hands down...Sure the NL may lack depth, but that does not mean they are worse than AL teams... AL being better is an Illusion because of the differences in the Game...They are managed and played totally different. You can take one thing to the bank... Phils have The best 1B, 2B, SS, Closer and the Top Pitcher on Either team in Hamels.... They are a push at several other Positions.... Only Position that Tampa is better at is 3B and that is only on Offense.... Burrel can hit with Crawford...Can't play the D so Tampa may have the edge there... Only edge TB has is starting Pitching...but once you get to that sorry assed bullpen and no closer then things even out.... Boston and NY had the worst team they have had in years and that is the only reason TB won the East... In past seasons TB is a 3rd maybe 4th place club because the Jays have had some offense....
