According to the Contra Costa Times, Raiders coach Lane Kiffin is on the cusp of being fired by managing general partner Al Davis. Cornerback DeAngelo Hall said the way the Raiders lost certainly won't help Kiffin. The Raiders allowed the Bills to score on three of their fourth-quarter possessions. (updated: 09/22/2008)

on the radio this morning they were saying that al davis is trying to get him to quit so he does not have to pay him a 3 1/2 million dollar bonus, they said they have not spoken to each other all season. al davis is reminding me of howard hughes...getting a little more crazy everyday.

Theres not enough money in the world to get Bill Cowher there. After the way the last several coaches have been treated no way does a top notch coach accept a job there without any control. Al Davis has no idea what the hell hes doing. Kiffin actually did a nice job there.
