Damn, a lot of work today. We got a couple ex yesterday but the good score was the race with Rachel. That was a nice tri with only 6 horses in the race. That filly ran some race to beat Rachel.

THE DERBY:

I'm going against all the conventional wisdom today. There's a ton of speed in the race and most everyone feels they will burn out and a closer will win. That's very possible because this is a chaos race and you always need luck and a good trrip to win this one.This is probably the toughest race to handicap as you will ever encounter. Here goes:

#20 Sidney's Candy 5/1...............................20/ 7,4,6,1,17,14......I love this horse's breeding along with Lookin At Lucky and Awesome Act...if it was a fast track I would have these as my top 3.....I'm figuring on the track being a river of slop today so I'm looking for the speed to stay up there....I think the 12 will lead for a mile or more and any of the speed horses that get a good stalking position can win....of course I may be totally full of shit also....I really think Sidney's Candy is much the best of the field and will probably stalk the pace but has terrific speed also and could actually wire the field....Sidney by 3-5 lengths!
