Default Stay Tuned Guys .... Will have news soon on some offshore books you need to know

Been on the phone and on IM on my cell while traveling to get my kids. Trying to verify all my info now with another reputable source. I have no reason to doubt my other sources but like to confirm with a few to be sure I get the whole picture as some may know a little more than others.

Please until I can confirm all this please stay with Top books like Bet Jam, Greek, Bookmaker, Bet Phoenix and such.

That is all I can say right now but these are prominate books that I am talking about. It is defi itely one and may be as many as three

Not going to speculate about any until I know. I was in a hurry and didn't list all the good books.

Not normally one to speculate on rumors, but any chance one of the books involved features the letters W, S, and X in prominently in their name ?

Always felt 5Dimes was a top flight book..would put them over Phoenix in my rankings personally for safety (for those interest it would be Olympic and 5Dimes Co #1, CRIS/BM #2 and Phoenix a distant 3rd..not that being #3 on this list is a bad thing).

There is at least one sponsor book here I would be cautious with..only based on recent activity and the recent indictments handed down. Not saying thats a bad thing, just cautious..there are 2 shops mentioned in that indictment that I am aware of and one of them has weathered this storm before.

Just a reminder though guys, never leave your entire role tied to one shop..no matter how safe you think they are..practice money management and would never recommend more than 50% at one shop and if possible keep a couple of outs. Getting the best price every time is the bonus that keeps giving. Matchbook is great, but I'd never trust them with more than I could afford to reasonably lose worst case.

I can tell you from sources ... the Government just put Mickey's Name on the Top of that indictment for Shock Value... Bookmaker and Cris are Fine

Well, CRIS is the book I mentioned thats weathered this storm before..Jazz is the other.

I've dealt with Jazz/Looselines before..always good to me, but I have not had many dealings with them since Russ left. They've been around for ever, so cant see them suddenly closing, but are they prepared to deal with the govt ?

Says alot of how screwed up the feds are that they have been making this case since 2005, and only because of one crooked cop in LA. Alot has changed since '05. The are only 3 reasons I can see the govt. being interested in this case..

    - The money laundering aspect, funds gambled are being used to launder drug/terror funds. This is a minimal risk, can it happen, yes...but there are other ways and the amount of $$ involved is still too small for the big boys.

    - Protecting the Nevada monopoly..basically Nevada is taking a beating with all states legalizing gambling, the economy sucks out there, real estate is in the tank and a highly democratic state has the political pull. But most casino's in vegas could care less about sports. They'd much rather pull in 100 $1 slot players vs 1 $1000 sports bettor these days.

    - The seizure of funds aspect - small time drug agencies are struggling for funds and have a 100 small time wanna be gansters out there for every cop. Bookies are easy targets with cash. Most aren't deeply hidden, its a cash business and pop a few you can recover $10-20k in cash pretty easily. These smaller agencies get to keep between 50-100% of funds seized, target the bookies, get the $$ to fund increased drug enforcement (or to pay overtime to a bunch of do nothing desk jockeys).

Can you ever escape the original referral source ?

If you could there are a few I'd love to get away from..just out of principle.

In theory, couldn't you just alter the spelling of your name or address or something and re-register from the site you want to get credit (not that I am suggesting this, just speaking theoretically...doing this to get new account sign up bonuses will likely get your ass kicked to the curb).

I dont know if you can ever do this and if the book would just tell you yes and not remove you from that source. Id rather go through whatever outlet I want to "transfer" to.

It is up to EOG to release you from that Sheet. They are the only ones that can do it. I know Ken refused to accommodate you but maybe something can be worked out once whoever is going to run the place on a daily basis is determined

All good points/theories... but IMO all of this is happening now because the UIGEA may be repealed or suspended again. It is supposed to be implemented on June 1, but the ABA is critical of it publicly now and more and more Congressmen are jumping on the Frank Bill or others like it. Also more and more states are wanting to legalize gambling or add sports gambling to their menu

You are such a politician sometimes, which in itself is quite the humorous visual.

Not about being a politician it is about the truth... I have talked to Ken about releasing you and Myself and I have talked with Bet Jamaica. The Affiliate you sign up thru has to release you from their sheet for you to go somewhere else. That is true at any book... I am not playing at Bet Jamaica for that very reason and I never will until I am off the EOG sheet... Not Bet Jam's Fault as Ken could have released people and chose not to.

No its not a blacklist at all. The forum you use as a referer gets credit when you play there. Since I havent posted at eog for years (with the exception of a week or two ago), I didnt want them getting credit for my play so I havent played there.

I will see what I can do D.
