Finally got home last night but can only sit at the computer 30 minutes to an hour a few times a day... Lap top battery is fucked so I will be around when I can... on mostly bedrest.... Doc's told me I was lucky yesterday as I came very close to dying on Sunday from me passing so much blood..... unreal how this surgery has turned out... I knew it was one of the most dangerous and hardest to get thru without all the other complications.. but it had to be done

can't drive for 4-6 weeks and now have to in and have the Ileostomy bag removed in two months since the first surgery didn't take and I had the complications....

Just got home from the Doctor... We have scheduled my surgery for March 31 and I will be in the hospital from 3-4 days... They are going to reverse the Ileostomy and hook my intestines back together... then I will have 4 weeks or so where I can't drive and another couple of months of eating a strict diet and no drinking or anything...

All this is contingent on the Colostomy they will do when I get to the Hospital to be sure the Large intestines are healed properly where they took out the 15" of diseased intestine

there is a small Chance that my small intestine will leak when they hook it back to the large intestine but very small.... but after my last experience I am preparing for anything

Still Battling... but the kids are doing well overall except for the things they have to go thru....Thanks for asking... Thanks for stopping by and giving us an update... you have definitely been on my mind and glad to hear things are shaping up....I know it seems like forever to you guys

Damm, good luck man, hope everything goes well. You might have to watch the national title from your hospital bed, sucks. Im sure everything will be fine once you get this over with and get through these next couple months.

Thanks OT... seems like it has been forever... not going to be 100% they say until July or August when everything totally heals.... This is a bad disease and I don't wish it on anyone

They just called and moved my surgery up... was supposed to be there at 2 pm but they told me to get there ASAP.... will check in when I can

Thanks Caracalla. I am hurtin for certain this morning. All the way thru my back. They brought me breakfast and I told them to Take it back. Got so nausiated lSt night had to take phinegran for my nausea. Knocked my ass out. Waiting on Doc sk I can see when I have tk start walking around

Did my walking and now sitting in the recliner. Feels like I got broken ribs. They got me on hydromorphone/DII Audid. Supposed tonwalk two more laps around the 5th floor.

I'm taking hydromorphone too, Dirty. Very effective drug!
