I was a THIS WEEK IN BASEBALL Player of the Week so I hope this hint doesn't give it away

My best season: over 100 rbis and nearly 30 home runs ... that same season I hit
over .320

I had 7 seasons with double digit home runs

I am the only player in MLB history to do this feat on Opening day

I have connections with Ozzie Smith and Rollie Fingers

I did play in a World Series but my team came up short

I hit nearly 150 career home runs

He got traded for some pretty good players. Rollie in one and Ozzie and Gary Templeton in another. He tried making a come-back in 87 in Japan.
