Yesterday I had the pleasure of playing Fishers Island Club, #20 on Golf Magazine Top 100 Golf Courses in the US.
The whole experience was awesome, we grabbed a small charter boat from Groton, CT to took us to Fishers Island. Once dropped off on the dock, we walked to the 17th green where there were carts waiting for us to take to the clubhouse. The course is an old style links course and is easily the nicest, most picturesque course Ive ever had the priveledge of playing.
I have pictures I want to share, but have no clue how to put them on here.

Wow, great pics, dude, was it windy at all? Looks like it was.
Yes it was very windy. When we left the CT shore there was no wind at all. I would guess we were playing in about 20mph winds, but it was fabulous.
I'd kill to play a links course, although I don't know why, unless the wind lands your ball right on the fairway. I'm good at missing it already.
It wasnt so bad when the wind was at our backs or in our faces, the crosswinds were tough though.
Looks like it would be very tough without the wind
