Default Wonder how many gamblers are going to scale back or quit betting football this season because of the economy???

I heard gambling in Vegas went down around 20 - 25%.....I'm sure the recreational gambler with a nagging wife may stop. Also the ones who lost their jobs....The hardcore degenerates will find a way to play. Even if comes down to getting his kneecaps broken by a loan shark......Any comments?

To be honest usually in a bad economy wagering increases.

People play the lottery and gamble a bit more for the pie in the sky return, for recreation and for the hope to make a few bucks.

Many are not traveling to Vegas and Atlantic City most definitely but they are
playing online and going to the corner store to purchase their lottery tickets.
They just are not spending the money to go on vacation, pay the airfare and taking more local trips and vacations with the family.

    Just something I have found.

And who listens to their nagging wife anyway.
