A bizarre series of mix-ups forced a Homestead woman out of her home when it was auctioned by mistake, WPLG Ch. 10 reports.
On Wednesday night, Anna Ramirez was evicted by a man who bought her house — even though her house wasn't for sale.
The bank, Washington Mutual, auctioned the house off by mistake while Ramirez was in the process of modifying her loan, WPLG reports.
She came home to find all her belongings on her front lawn.

some of the notes have disappeared so folks are getting smart and tellling em to
produce who owns the notes when threatened with foreclosure
way to avoid this...pay your mortgage.
Not getting all holier than though, but way too many people stopping payments looking for big interest cuts
She may not have been not paying. Seems to me like she was just changing loan types or refinancing or something.
Either way, your home being auctioned out from under you without notice is not something that anyone is going to be happy about.
I'd be kicking some ass!

Imagine driving into your driveway and all your shit is out on the front lawn?
There would have been notice, she just chose to ignore it for whatever reason likely...see nothing in the story that she wasn't on notice.
Says she was in process of a mod. This means she was either behind or had income issues. Banks don't mod loans without reason. Likely started the mod proccess and thought the sale was off but never confirmed w/ sheriff...when it wasn't canceled the sheriff fillers through...fault w/ wamu and homeowner
