Who actually owns the site? Did Micelli's site and IQ merge and co-owned or how does that work?

Last May... General and I quit EOG for many reasons after almost 3 years there ... We had no idea we were going to start a site.. we had many offers to do so, but were not sure... One day I was on Messenger with Shortbus/Cooper (who worked at eog for 2 years and resigned a few month before) and the idea came up.. I mentioned Genreal and I thought about starting a site... Coop mentioned he had a domain already and had owned it for years because he wanted to open one but never had. Coop is very good at SEO, technical work and Vbulletin as that is how he makes a good living. I talked with Pete and we agreed to open a site....We started working on the site first of June as our last day at EOG was May 31. We opened in early August of 2008.... General Left GIQ for a great Job at SBR. They needed help in the Dispute department and that is what he loves to do. He was not real Keen on the Techie side of it. We told him to take the job and be happy. We all left good friends and still are today. That Guaranteed paycheck in this environment is big... in November we metioned maybe buying out TFZ or a merger and Micelli was very receptive to a merger... He still wanted to be an owner (I would too if I loved what I do)... We kicked around how to make it work with 4 owners and then General got the Job offer to go to SBR (he was originally offered a job there after we left EOG and turned it down) and decided to take it, then it was a No brainer to merge with TFZ1. We worked out the details and Wallah here we are today... Coop, Micelli and Myself own the site....


The Idea for GIQ came about around 3 years ago in Vegas.... General, Glaken (from EOG who passed), Ironlock, and I were sitting around bullshitting at the Nugget and we wondered if a forum that only took on Top Rated sportsbooks could survive... EOG started out that way, but Ownership decided to go in a different direction (against Our wishes)...but hey it was his site he can do what he wants.... Once we resigned we kicked it around and decided if we were going to do it, then we would do it with top books (B Rated or above by SBR ratings) or we would not do it at all..... We got tired of having to promote the bad books to the players across the street. There was not a forum that did this and every other one that tried gave up on it. JC and many other posters kept bitching about the Banners at the top and the shit books, so we said we were going to do it right.... We have built the site up from nothing..building it Brick by Brick... we have TONS more we want to do, but we just have to have the time and resources to do it correctly. You will see lots of changes by Football we hope as this summer we have some big plans.

I've heard nothing but good things about Micelli and have seen his posts for a few years. now. He seems like a stand up guy that has earned a bit of respect. I really liked the way EOG was run a few years ago when the likes of Chicago Hotsides was posting baseball plays. I don't know Cooper but have heard good things about Joe Dirt and the General so I'm certain this is being run the correct way. I hope The General is enjoying himself and his new job.

Yeah, you guys have a great thing going here. Mic and I go back to his TFZ days, and I am looking forward to GIQ's future. This is a no bull shit place that I want to be apart of......unlike some other forums where there is so little substance about gambling and sports.
