i stopped watching too around the same time, shortly after they bought out wcw. i always thought tna had a shot to be the new wcw (the periods when it didnt suck)
but the fact that they only do the tv shows at universal studios makes it seem more like american gladiators to me

you should check out some of the wwe anthologies they have been releasing like "the history of the world heavyweight championship" and "the history of raw". the ric flair and macho man ones are good too. They are pretty much the complete video histories. if you watched wrestling in the 80's and early 90's its pretty cool to go back and see some of this shit again. I downloaded the torrents on my laptop. when im bored i check out the old matches. the championshop belt one goes all the way back to the stone age and shows the rise of ric flair and hulk hogan in the early eighties all the way up top the present. has tons of house matches that where never seen before by the public too. one of my favorites too is the road warriors dvd, they were my favorite as a kid.

pretty much ever since they changed to the "wwe" its just gotten too over saturated and they cant capture the same feeling that they once could. even some of the high flying moves that caught your attention ten years ago are now boring and over used.
