Back in action

I have been gone for a while and after looking over the last few posts I can see that some of you need some help with your pics dealing with the UFC. Over the last two events, UFC 78 and The Ultimate Finale, I only have one bad pic. I will post my pics for 79 when it gets closer. Lots of good fights coming up. Just a prelim... stay away from Lidell for 79. He doesn't stand a chance against Silva's style. Case in point - Rampage and, sadly enough, Jardine. Have a great day.

Half hour til the action begins. Here are my pics

Clemente/Guillard - tough call but I think this one goes to Guillard. By now, he should have at least developed good enough sub defense to not get caught and his athleticism will be the factor. Too much for "No Love". Guillard

Palelei/Sanchez - Sanchez looked real soft at the weigh-ins. Add that to and in shape Palelei who also outweighs his opponent by 20 pounds, and Eddie's chances look slim. Palelei

Sokudju/Machida - Interesting fight here. Aggressive against defensive. I see a decision for Soku

Hughes/St Pierre - I feel like this one may be a replay of the Silvia/Arlovski trilogy - a five round decision with St Pierre coming out victorious.

Silva/Lidell - Both Silva and Chuck looked great at the weigh-ins. Any fight fueled by emotion such as this is hard to pick but stylistically I don't think Lidell has a chance. Gonna be a great fight. Both fighters are not only fighting for pride but are actually fighting for their careers. Should end in a knockout and I see Chuck looking at the lights. Silva
