Cro Cop, Rampage, and more

This is for all the UFC fans out there.....

Mirco "Cro Cop" Filipovic has signed and is expected to be introduced tomorrow night at UFC 65. For all of you who don't know about this guy, you are in for a treat when you see him fight. To put it bluntly, Silvia better enjoy his time with that heavyweight belt. It won't be his long.

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has already signed with UFC and will be fighting Marvin Eastman in Feb for his UFC debut. Some input for those of you who have been sleeping.... Rampage is one of only 3 to hand a loss to The Iceman. His contract is only for 6 months with no rematch in site but we can expect to see this fight real soon if Chuck wins tomorrow night.

"The Nightmare" Diego Sanchez is trying to get a fight with the new welterweight champ George "Rush" St. Pierre. I feel it is well deserved. He is also talking smack toward Matt Hughes. He has been looking for a fight with him for a while now. Seems he will be content with either right now and I will be tuned in on the edge of my seat for which ever contract he signs next. Hey, you don't have to like a guy to like the way he fights.

Some more news....

St. Pierre is out for Feb 3rd. Hurt his knee in training. The championship fight with Serra will still happen, but not at UFC 67. All other scheduled bouts are still on.

Yes Micelli, Cro Cop is an excellent addition to the heavyweight division. Lookout Silvia!

This is kind of old news but.... BJ Penn and Jens Pulver will be the coaches for next season of TUF. It will be in the lightweight division and, yes, the two coaches will be fighting afterward. BJ is one of my favorites. I can't wait to see him back at lightweight where he belongs. He doesn't gas at 155 like he does at welterweight. Pulver is in for a long night.

Ultimate Fight Night on Jan 25th. Some good fights. Check em out.

Maximus, I haven't heard or seen anything about Angle fighting Ortiz. Let me know where you are getting this. I would like to look into it.
