    Default MLB Playoffs

    0-0

Nothing locked in yet, but am strongly leaning Phils to win the series, Phils under game 2, and NYY under game 1.

Phills winning the Series is a good one now as 14 of the last 17 yrs the winner of game 1 Wins the Series..

I have not seen the lines now that game 1 is over.. I am sure the Phills as a dog to win the series has changed to a - odds.. / I will still stick w/ Dodgers winning game 2 and winning the Series..

Game 1 was a good game to watch, I hope this action continues as i will B on the Over w/ both NLCS and ALCS Tonight.......

I got lucky with the LA Dodgers winning game 2. Since that happened the line went from -210 to -141.

I got to lock in Philadelphia to win the NL at -141, Triple Play

Some of you may think I'm crazy but if NYY wins tonight, then I am going to get them for a max bet as well.

That is a pretty nice statistic. LAD to win game 2 was a real nice play, I wish I would of been on it. I thought about it real hard, but failed to place the bet.

I am on just the opposite as you, being on the under. I think if 1 doesn't go under it will be the NYY as Burnett flops in big games. He'll throw a 2 hitter against baltimore in June but he struggles when it matters.

I'm with ya on this one. I was a little slow on the trigger and got +115. But any + in this game to me is a bonus. I'm looking at the Under 8.5 -125 although I prefer the Under 8 Even the extra 1/2 Run is not worth 25c -120 would be acceptable IMO. I Haven't decided what I want to do if anything on the Total. I just think that contrary to most that believe Sab will tank because of 3 Days I think he'll be fine but not up to his standard. Kaz is always tough against the Yankees.

Also will see how long J.G lets him go so he can make pitching moves for the sake of making moves. Sorry but I think he miss uses his bullpen. The guy had two lefties come out of the bullpen yesterday and throw a total of 4 pitches. For an ex Catcher IMO he's not a very good manager.

Thanks old timer unfortunately, we had the wrong side

Is anyone going to attempt to try to factor in the weather in tonights matchup?

Weather report...15-20 mph nw winds and 50% chance of rain....does anyone have any idea whatsoever if that helps or hinders home running hitting ability in the nyy stadium?

I have the nyy series for a big bet so I may take laa tonight as the slightly better pitcher is getting +165 money, I may take a shot on it...any thoughts?

I tend to think bad weather favors pitching, which is why i like the under tonight. However no idea about whether the wind will push more balls out. Never been to new stadium..at the old stadium which i think faced Northeast, i would say that wind might help right handed hitters hit it out. Not sure how new stadium faces

First from what I see I would postpone this game because to what I'm seeing there's no rain in the forecast for Sunday or Mon.

The weather tonight is 65 with a 93% Humidity (High for this time of year) with winds blowing South at 15 -25 MPH South I believe at Yankee stadium is straight out With this Humidity and wind I would never bet the under. 90% chance of rain and up to 1/2 Inch I don't think they play this game. But they may weather has a habit of changing. Keep on eye out as I will also.

    Good Luck Guys

Good call guys, I saw they've cancelled the game....if game 7 happens sabathia will definitley go right? On top of that, let's suppose nyy wins game 7 (wishful thinking) would sabathia pitch game 2 in the series, or would girardi pitch him game 1 then have and wait and se approach based on how the series is going?

Doesn't the World series start the Wednesday the 28th if that's the case and Pettite lose's game 6 then they have to pitch CC in game 7 again on 3 days rest. If that happens I believe the Yankees go

Burnett Who's much better at Home then on the Road Game 1 on Wed with 1 day extra Rest

Chad Gaudin in game 2 on Thursday

CC in Game 3 on Saturday the 31st (On Reg Rest)

    Pettitte in Game 4

If it goes 7 they have CC on Reg Rest.

Needless to say this is a very Big game for the Yanks and the Angels.
Philly has to be loving this.

I would think so, but I never know what Girardi is going to do.

He reminds me of Phil Jackson with his coaching tendencies.
