That is what I am thinking too......The way CC is pitching I think he really could shut down philaldelphia's staff.

Pettitte in Game 4

If it goes 7 they have CC on Reg Rest.

Needless to say this is a very Big game for the Yanks and the Angels.

I would agree with you but I don't know about Burnett, it seems when he gets in big games that he shits the bed. The way CC is pitching you may have to give him the nod as he's the hottest guy in that rotation.

NYY has to get more from it's bullpen, they walk on out there and give up hit upon hit upon hit. Rivera has been good, but thats about it. I thought Joba would be better than he is out of the bullpen. Maybe he got used to pitching as a starter and he doesn't come out firing like a bat out of hell.

Monday is the 26th if CC has to pitch on Monday the 26th how is he going to pitch on Wednesday Game 1 the 28th 2 days later or Thursday Game 2 the 29th 3 days later. I believe that the Yankees were going to go to a 4 man rotation anyway and CC would pitch 2. If this series with the Angels goes 7 It has to be Burnett it's the only guy there is no decision.

Almost forgot Forget Jobe I think they ruin this kid this year and he's done. He looks lost when he's out there.

Now that you put it like that your right OT....I believe if this angels series does go 7 then NYY have no choice but to pitch him game 7. They may pitch him game 2 because their reasoning could be that since they have been doing it all playoffs and CC has found a grove and consistancy on 3 days rest they don't want to mess with whats working. While in fact they could be greatly diminishing his arm during this course. I mean no one knows about the depletion of good arms in the MLB, there is some research to back this, based upon innings pitched, MLB's front office's can reasonably estimate when production will decrease, but at some point we could see CC touched up for 5 in an inning, hope it doesn't happen but funny things happen with these pitcher's arms.

I agree 110%....When you look at him out on the mound, he doesn't know what he is. In any business or team you have to know "What are you", because it defines who you are and how you approach and attack situations. NYY are a power hitting lineup with a great 1 pitcher, OK 2 pitcher, and exceptional closer. Bullpen is very shaky. This power hitting lineup did well in the regular season but I feel that them not getting clutch hits are catching up to them.
