    Default DSI non-pay

    Just FYI everyone,

I won week 4, was not paid or notified why until today, when DSI let Dirty know they would not honor their prize committment because "I haven't deposited their since 2007".

Typical of 2nd rate book...wouldn't have expected that from DSI.

    Default DSI non-pay

    Just FYI everyone,

I won week 4 DSI primetime contest 1st place, was not paid or notified why until today, almost two weeks later, when DSI let Dirty know they would not honor their prize committment because "I haven't deposited there since 2007". The rules make no mention of any deposit requirements, and in fact specifically discuss alternative prizes for inactive players.

Typical of 2nd rate book...wouldn't have expected that from DSI. I'll be sure to let some other forums know about this like SBR and Therx as well.

It has always been common sense to me to have an account active and funded before playing a contest at any book.....I myself don't play a few contests because I don't have an active account there.

Books are kind enough to have contests for promoting business.....They are not looking for freeloading contest whores.

I play by the rules, If the rules require an active, funded account, then I would surely abide by that. This one, however, didn't, and specifically provided for inactive accounts...So your not-so-veiled insults are unwarranted and childish. I'm not the one in the wrong here.

I have been a customer and deposited there several times and I do appreciate contests. Contests are either to promote business or reward loyal customers and are clearly distinguishable. This one obviously was for promoting business (for the forum too I might add). I play at many books, often based on how I am treated by them. I am likely to give my business to places that treat me right and follow through with their commitments. New players that have never played there are welcomed, but existing players who have deposited in the past are given an excuse why the rules are broken when they get lucky enough to win a prize...and then insulted by the forum promoting the contest to boot. Classy...and professional.

Didn't think you would have the nuts to approve a response to your insults

I was simply talking about some contest players in general.....Wasn't targeting you......If you have a legitimate gripe, which you think you do, then take it to the book whoever runs the contest....Or take the appropriate action necessary.

    Sorry if I offended you.

One thread is enough.. You don't have to clutter up every one..... I also would not have the balls to post that I hadn't deposited and was looking for free money ON the forums.... Makes you look like a contest whore.... There are better ways to handle it and you don't gain any favor points by doing it this way..... You want to play this way? that is fine...
