Indiana (2-4, 0-3) at Illinois (3-3, 1-2)
When: 7 p.m. Saturday (Big Ten Network).
Player to watch: Juice Williams, Illinois — The junior quarterback has thrown for 772 yards and four touchdowns in his last two games and is the Big Ten’s pass efficiency leader in conference games.
Recent history: Illinois won, 27-14, last season but lost to the Hoosiers the last time they played in Champaign, Ill. Indiana rallied from 18 points downs to win, 34-32, on a last-second field goal by Austin Starr.
Key statistic: The Hoosiers rank last against the Big Ten in turnover margin (minus-6) and their eight turnovers are tied for the second-worst total in the conference. They are also the most penalized team in league play, getting flagged 21 times total for an average of 67.7 yards per game.
Bottom line: Indiana is too mistake-prone to win against anyone in the Big Ten at this point.

IU has some playmakers in Lewsis and Thigpen, but they don't have much of anything else. I'd not be so worried after the way the Illinois team played last week, unless they are capable of using that as motivation tonight and make few errors.
