    Default 8 DECK SHOES

    Anyone know if there are any differences to playing with an 8 deck compared to a 6 deck?
    Would the advantage be to play in a smaller game 2-3 people against a dealer, or a larger table with 5-6 against the dealer.

    The difference between the 2 would be minimal...
    My advice is to find a single deck game and stay away from any mutiple deck shoe. 8)

    I think the best thing to do with multiple shoe decks is to incorporate team play. If that is not an option, as notter mentioned, there isn't much of a difference. The one thing that I have noticed with shoes, is that when the deck is positive it stays that way for a long time. Not sure if you count or not, but some of the techniques used by the MIT appear to be very useful but take many hours to master.
