    Default Table Manners

Two quick things I saw last night on the table...

Three players left in a hand in a tournament. 15-30 blinds, i am BB, first to act calls, small blind goes all in for 160 more into a pot of 75. While I was contemplating the call or raise the chip leader behind me folds his hand and walks away from the table. My other buddy that just went all in goes 'wtf was that'.
I was debating the call because I was worried about the chip leader behind me going over the top and taking me out of the hand.
There were only 4 left in the tourney and the top 3 were getting $$$ so this was a big spot. With him announcing behind me that he was folding i was no longer worried about losing all of my chips in the hand. I could now try to take out the small stack and be in the money.
    I called with J-10 he flips Q-10/
    k-k-9 flop A turn 8 river

I told the chip leader when he got back to the table that he shouldn't have done that because it wasn't fair to the guy that put all of his chips in the pot.

Five Players left in the same tourney. Small stack is all in for his last 50 and there are 3 other callers. Flop comes two Kd-9d-2c
    I have Ad 3c
Check, check, last position goes all-in, we both fold. He flips over a bluff. The small stack survives and wins the pot.
There was no side pot in the hand. The last position won 0 dollars on the hand and the small stack quadrupled up. What went wrong? If the three players would have checked down, I might have been able to hit the nut flush or another hand that would have taken out the small stack. But since there was a raise with nothing from the late position, we were unable to improve and beat the all-in short stack.
If you are trying to make it in the money of a tournament, sometimes you have to check and help out others in the pot to take out the all-in. I would only have bet at that flop if i hit a set and needed to protect it against someone drawing to a flush. Your set is going to hold up most of the time against the all-in.

Thats why we should have never invited those dumb fucks to play.....
I honestly cant stand half the guys that are down there anymore.
Everytime, you have to remind them that it's their turn to act....2 of the deuchebags take forever to check fold or raise.
We need to start having it on a different night

same scenario happened at the cubs table last week...3 guys left, small stack moves in, 1 and 2 call. there's a bet on the turn and chip leader folds, reiks wins 0 in side action and the other guy takes it down....now it didn't matter because he would have had the winning hand had the big stack stood in there but yeah dude there's nothing good that comes out of a bet that late in the tournament with 3 people left.

A lot of those guys who get up fromn the table like that...ESPECIALLY at once are your internet buddies who can't understand why the cards aren't going there way and only play when they have a good hand.

A good trick is when I go to a game where nobody knows me, I'll play like an asshole like that just so the "pros" will think I have no idea what I am doing, then I generally stick it to them with a good hand. Watch for the " dead" money, sometimes they aren't so dead

    Good luck !!
